TEMPAT PENITIPAN ANAK, MEWAH, MENENGAH DAN SEDERHANA (Studi Perbandingan Perkembangan Anak Balita Secara Kognitif Motorik Afektif)

Abstract

The aim of this study is to observe the comparison of children cognitive, motorist and affective development in luxurious, middle and moderate day care center,, in order to obtain the description of a suitable day care center and its influence. All the population which is known and registered in Social Department are used, like: Teratai, Sandhy Putra, LKK, Dharma Wanita Day Care Center and also many private day care center like: Benih Kasih, St Yoseph and RKZ. The purposive sampling method is used to show that the aim of this technique is to reach the specific target. The examination result shows that there are differences in children development among the different day care center for cognitive and motorizes development, but only in certain ages. The Architectural element in luxurious, middle and moderate day care center is suspected to give effects in children development. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Penelitian ini meneliti perbandingan perkembangan kognitif, motorik dan afektif anak balita di tempat penitipan anak yang tergolong mewah, menengah dan sederhana,sehingga didapatkan gambaran tempat penitipan anak yang sesuai dan bagaimanakah pengaruhnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan populasi sebagai obyek penelitian yang diketahui dan terdaftar di dinas sosial yaitu: TPA. Teratai, TPA. Sandhy Putra, TPA. LKK, TPA. Dharma Wanita, dan tempat penitipan swasta lainnya, yaitu: TPA. Benih Kasih, TPA. St. Yoseph, TPA. RKZ. Metode proposive sampling dipakai sebagai acuan yang menunjukkan bahwa teknik ini digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan-tujuan tertentu. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan perkembangan anak pada tempat penitipan anak yang berbeda untuk perkembangan kognitif dan motorik, namun tidak merata pada semua kelompok usia.Elemen arsitektur yang berbeda pada kategori mewah, menengah dan sederhana diduga berpengaruh pada tingkat perkembangan anak. Kata kunci: tempat penitipan anak, perkembangan anak, elemen arsitektur.
