About the Journal

DIMENSI: Journal of Architecture and Built Environment (p-ISSN 0126-219X, e-ISSN 2338-7858) is a peer-reviewed, SCOPUS-indexed journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Services, Petra Christian University, Surabaya, Indonesia. The journal serves as a platform for the dissemination of original research and scholarly works in architecture and the built environment.

DIMENSI publishes high-quality research that advances knowledge and practice in architecture, sustainable built environments, urban design and planning, architectural history, building structures, and related disciplines. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, and practitioners at both national and international levels.

DIMENSI is published biannually, in July and December.

Since June 2026, DIMENSI has been indexed in SCOPUS. The journal is also accredited as SINTA 2 under the Decree of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, dated March 21, 2025, valid for 5 (five) years.

 

Journal History

DIMENSI was published as DIMENSI: Jurnal Teknik Arsitektur from May 1980 until July 2008. Beginning with Volume 36, Number 2 (December 2008), the journal adopted its current title, DIMENSI: Journal of Architecture and Built Environment, to reflect its broader scope and international readership.
